The DGT payment platform is having issues with given cards, especially when trying to pay a fine from third countries. The error message is pretty vague: 'Error: it was not possible to conduct the operation'.
In these cases the only alternative seems to be making a bank transfer.
I got this Error and rang the Ministerio Del Interior, they were very apologetic but did not seem to think that this was a problem they ever had before. advised me to try again tomorrow or do a transfer. the problem with doing a transfer is my Banks online system has no room to enter all the information required ?

DeleteAny updates? The site seems to accept my fine, but is unable to process the credit card. I have been receiving the alert: "Error, it was not possible to conduct the operation," despite trying multiple times.

ReplyDeleteupdated: tried with VPN to obtain Spanish IP. Still failed.
